About the Job

The Peepcoin-DAPS Project is looking for experts in privacy protocols! DAPS plans to be the world's first fully private coin, utilizing the features of other protocols in an attempt to set a new standard for privacy, while having a trustless setup and governance. To enable this, a unique feature called Proof-Of-Audit will be created.

This is a paid role. Compensation is to be decided on a case by case basis. Depending on depth of experience this may become a head developer role with other benefits included.

You: A high-level contributing engineer and/or expert in other protocols such as Monero or Zcash. C++ experts preferred.

Requirements:
- Full-cycle development experience with EITHER/OR;

- Monero familiarity, including RingCT library implementation
- Zcash familiarity, including Zero-knowledge Proofs implementation and the "Zerocash" protocol family (Zerocoin, Libzerocoin, Zerocash)
- Other relevant protocols detailed in DAPS documentation (to be further reviewed in interview process)
- Familiarity with proof-of-work algorithms and implementations, able to craft homebrew work algos

- A Github with recorded activity in relevant projects

- C++ familiarity required, other languages can be used as suggested but the vast majority of work is expected to be done in C++

- Able to build, compile, bugfix sources independently

- Able to sign Privacy Policy and NDA (General Team NDA and additional DAPS NDA) prior to official access

- Accept terms of Governance, including adhering to the code of conduct at all times

Preferred:
- Passionate about privacy and other aspects of our coin's projected features, including the DAPS ecosystem
- Long term minded, recognizing this project has a multi-year vision
- Network security and general cryptography expertise


Job tasks:

- Build DAPS code and network, using DAPS whitepaper and documentation as framework. Merging Zero-Knowledge Proofs with the RingCT library is the primary feature package, with alternative configurations reserved.

- Crafting and implementation of unique Proof-Of-Audit (Proof of work substitute) on-chain solution to enable trustless setup of privacy networks. Documentation details theoretical implementation further

- Present weekly progress report to Coordinator, suggest alterations or additional items

- Determine allocation of future development fund, in accordance with governance (Developers will be paid from this DAPS Dev Fund allocation!)

- Building the most all-encompassing privacy coin to date!
