Using blockchain technology, the New Dream is going to start by turning 1 million people into homeowners in the next 10 years. With homeownership being the primary asset in producing generational wealth, it is vital that the homeownership process is based on equity and equality, yet, we are stuck in an industry that prioritizes profits over the need for affordable, liveable, permanent housing. By developing a decentralized autonomous organization, we will be able to connect the means of production to a tokenized model, while cutting out the profit-seeking middleman, and creating a simplified homeownership process that is easily accessible to all communities. We are a fast-growing start-up at an early stage, preparing to launch in the summer of 2021.

The Role: Rust/Solidity Engineer
Remote | Engineering | Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities
-Build Substrate-based blockchain projects
-Implement & deploy Solidity Smart contracts
-Write bridge code to connect solidity and Rust
-Provide technical support and hands-on guidance on these projects to users, external teams, and communities
-Evangelize our products and technologies to developer communities

Requirements
-Experience with Rust, particularly writing high-performance high-security code
-Familiar with EVM, and understand inner details
-Familiar with blockchain & decentralized applications concepts
-Familiar with common data structure and crypto algorithms
-Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
-Ability to work autonomously and proactively
