About the Job

The team is looking for a blockchain/dapp developer. You will work on our maturing codebase of Solidity contracts and on integrating these with our Javascript client.

The project revolves around video streaming and flexible monetisation models. Experience w/ contracts for licensing, purchasing or dealing w/ metadata of audiovisual files is a plus. Knowledge regarding decentralised naming systems too.

## Requirements
- 2+ years in software engineering
- Deep understanding and experience with writing Ethereum smart contracts
- We have a strong preference for candidates who have contributed to open-source projects in the past
- Bonus points if have demonstrated open-source leadership and led a major open-source project yourself

As Blockchain Engineer, you will:

- Work on innovative and mind challenging projects

- Develop smart contracts & full stack decentralized applications

- Develop and test smart contracts and programming efforts on Ethereum, Hyperledger etc blockchain

- Work on various aspects of the software delivery process including gathering requirements, designing, and developing software solutions to complex technical issues.

- Maintain and improve existing code base and perform Test-driven development

Your qualifications include:

- A clear interest in blockchain technologies;

- Good understanding of smart contracts, cryptography, Ethereum and Javascript

- Experience with one or more of the following web technologies: Node.js, MongoDb,React, Angular, Redux, VueJS, Bootstrap

- Exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or working towards a completion

Nice to haves

- Familiarity in one or more of the following current blockchain development libraries and frameworks: Truffle, Embark, Web3.js, ethers.js, OpenZeppelin, Dapphub

- Experience working with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other blockchain tech

- Experience with cryptography (SHA2 Hashing, public key and symmetric key cryptography, etc )

- Experience in Ethereum development with Solidity programming language
