This post is for a role in our office in downtown Manhattan. We are seeking a candidate based in the NY area.

BlockFi has experienced incredible growth since our launch in August 2017. From raising over $55MM in debt and equity capital to helping over 1,500 customers get more from their crypto assets, this past year has confirmed the strong demand for crypto wealth management services.

We’re looking for a growth-oriented candidate who will deliver compelling and engaging content in accordance with BlockFi's tone and brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience creating long-form content, short-form content, and social media copy. They will identify new content opportunities to increase traffic to the BlockFi website and social platforms, to improve engagement rates, and to help grow revenue.

This position will report directly to our Director of Marketing and will play a critical role in working with the rest of the marketing team to drive revenue.


The ideal candidate:

- A self starter- you love coming up with new content ideas and running with them
- Excellent communicator (both written and verbal)
- An avid researcher- you love learning new things and sharing what you've learned with your colleagues
- A natural storyteller- you love using content to engage users


Responsibilities:

- Research, write, and produce content designed to enhance BlockFi's brand as a thought leader
- Identify gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Promote content on social media
- Proofread and edit blog posts written by other BlockFi team members
- Actively monitor BlockFi's social media accounts
- Work collaboratively with all departments of BlockFi to develop and execute consistent storytelling across all brand touch points.

Requirements:

- 2+ years experience developing content for B2C companies
- Amazing writing skills, experience with both short- and long-form content
- Editing/proofreading pro
- Passion for trying out new ways to engage users on social media
- A knowledge of financial products/industry, FinTech, or the crypto space
