About the Job

Coinected.io is a fintech company, developing secure and global peer-to-peer marketplace platform allowing people to buy and sell a wide range of cryptocurrencies with any local currency. We are utilizing the power of blockchain and smart contracts to ensure complete safety of funds and transactions.
We are young, but experienced and dedicated team with presence on two continents. We are currently at a pre-seed stage, finalizing our MVP and looking for people with the right skills and mindset to join our journey.
Right now we are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with great understanding of backend technologies to strengthen our team and take responsibility for further development of the platform on the technical level.
This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop robust backend code and microservices
• Design and develop frontend app
• Develop blockchain related features - smart contracts, wallets, etc.
• Write high quality, reusable code, prevent vulnerabilities
• Write unit, functional and integration tests
• Code reviews
• Close collaboration with other developers and product owner
• Involvement in ideation and design of new product features

Required skills:
• 4+ years of professional experience in backend software development
• 3+ years of professional experience in Node.js / JavaScript
• Good understanding of frontend technologies - Angular 2/4, Material, HTML, CSS
• SQL, GIT
• Experience with design and development of REST APIs
• Experience writing unit, functional and integration tests
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills
• Attention to details, structured approach to work, emphasis on writing high quality, well tested code
• Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Startup mentality: willingness to wear many hats and strong desire to build the business from grounds up

Nice to have:
• Experience in development of blockchain platforms or services (eg. bitcoin, ethereum, smart contracts, Solidity, web3.js, wallets, exchanges, other blockchains etc.)
• Experience in design and development of microservices and highly scalable distributed systems
• Experience with DevOps, web servers security
• Understanding of cryptography
