About the Job

We are looking for a creative junior graphic designer to contribute to our social media, print and web projects. The successful candidate will be a qualified designer with a passion for design, capable of supporting a busy marketing department in a startup environment on new and existing marketing campaigns—designing a range of materials for press kits, presentations, infographics, and social media campaigns on a daily basis.

As our Junior Graphic Designer, you will have a keen eye for typography and colour theory, overall excellent visual design skills, an ability to bring creative concepts to life with little supervision/direction and a design portfolio that displays your past work. We are looking for someone who can break down a complex process into simple, easy-to-understand images that look incredible and are influential in our user’s decision making.

Your role:
- Design a range of social media graphics, email creatives, blog graphics, infographics, marketing presentations, media kits and other collateral for marketing purposes
- Gather and interpret data to present in a graphical format for infographics and presentations/reports
- Receive design assignments to complete
- Assist with other graphic design tasks as needed
- Support lead designer, if necessary

Requirements:
- Excellent design portfolio
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Sketch
- Understanding of color theory and typography
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently when it comes to creative direction
- Ability to work within a very short lead time and deal with many daily design requirements
- Ability to take feedback and make design revisions as necessary, but also trust your decisions and explain your reasoning
- Understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency strongly preferred
