About the Job

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

Working closely with the CEO, the Senior Marketing Lead will support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (digital and offline) to Switcheo’s audience in order to capture new users, re-engage existing users and overall increase trading-volume of platform over time. The Senior Marketing Lead will utilise a range of digital and traditional tools, including advertising, digital marketing, direct and offline marketing, PR, print and social media, acting as a link between the clients and stakeholders.
This hands-on role is an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to further a career in marketing and benefit from working in a fast-growing blockchain company.
We are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable track record with strong project management skills, and be able to juggle multiple / competing priorities at a high standard. Equally important is the candidate’s communication skills both written and verbal, in order to successfully prepare, review, deliver and co-ordinate clear internal and external communications.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
On-going marketing tasks:
-Collaborate with content, PR and digital marketing personnel to plan marketing campaigns and day-to-day marketing activities.
-Facilitate the maintenance of key collateral (E.g. marketing brochures, websites, case studies, speaker bios, company testimonials, templates and other marketing collateral)
-Assist with the implementation of brand guidelines across the business, keeping all teams compliant as well as copy-write/proofread materials before they get released for public eyes.
-Work with team to develop press releases and/or content angles for campaign communications or general press coverage.
-Management of monthly e-newsletter/community announcements on various social mediums (e.g. Email, Medium, Telegram, Steamit), includes planning, scheduling and publishing.
-Produce briefs for any collateral or platform enhancement required and working closely with our in-house design and technical team for creative development.
-Contact clients and/or partner organisations by telephone to nurture leads, respond to enquiries or facilitate co-marketing opportunities, press coverage or token additions to the platform.
-Arrange events or meetings and coordinate follow-ups with internal teams or external stakeholders as required.

Campaign Planning
-Support the management in creating monthly marketing and communications plans for achieving company, service or brand objectives.
-Execute to the agreed marketing strategy, using a range of tactics, ensuring all key milestones are met and the relevant follow through activities are applied.
-Conduct research to identify key audience segments, whether client or stakeholders, and identify best tactics for engaging these segments.

External brand building or PR opportunities
-Work with team to develop system to monitor a variety of external channels to alert the team regarding relevant upcoming conferences and events for networking and speaking opportunities.
-Work with team executives to co-ordinate conference event plans and setup in order to ensure relevant collateral and brand set up on the day.
-Monitor a variety of external channels to alert the team regarding relevant award submission opportunities to gain external recognition for our work.

Reporting
-Monitor marketing metrics across various channels in order to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
-Prepare regular, monthly campaign reports reflecting ROI and impact of sales and marketing activities.
-Conduct competitive or market analysis in order to identify market opportunities and threats.
-Work with finance to report to local teams on budgets and forecasts, and flag up anomalies.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS:

Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree, preferably majoring in marketing or business
-A current portfolio displaying successful track record or case studies in a B2C environment (Essential)
-Minimum of three years experience in a marketing role and delivering a wide range of tactics from across the marketing mix (demand generation, engagement, brand building, partnership working etc.) across a range of channels (print, online, email, social media etc.) (Essential)
-Experience with blockchain and good understanding of trends and terminologies (Preferred but not essential)
-Previous exposure to digital marketing and PR techniques. (Essential)
-Strong interpersonal skills to be able to interface well with team members as well as external partners (Essential)
-Advanced project and time management skills with proven track record juggling multiple
and competing projects, filtering information and assessing priorities (Essential)
-Excellent copywriting skills in order to both create and review written materials in line with key messages (Essential)
-Strong attention to detail
-Highly IT literate with strong skills across all Microsoft Office applications
