About the Job

We are looking for a talented Social Media / Content Officer to manage our social media accounts, create email newsletters and drive engagement within our network. You will be the brand’s image and voice to the community with the goal to drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and optimise user acquisition for our web app.

As the Social Media / Content Officer, you will be responsible for defining and administering the social media & content strategy to ensure key business objectives are met, designing graphics, creating email newsletters, writing content and planning promotional tactics to optimise our social and content strategy. You will design and develop content across all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, BitcoinTalk, Telegram, Steemit and even developer resources, such as GitHub.

The Role:

- Design & implement a social media and content plan in alignment with our wider global marketing strategy
- Represent Dether on a daily basis via our social media networks
- Design, edit, share and publish engaging content on a daily basis (text, photos, videos and news etc)
- Engage with related relevant channels, partners and audiences across social media
- Design and broadcast email campaigns using our email marketing tools
- Initiate, join and moderate discussions on our Telegram channel
- Produce creative and SEO optimized content
- Respond to queries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency on social channels
- Suggest and implement social media campaigns to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Monitor social web traffic metrics and activity on a daily basis
- Create weekly and monthly reports on KPIs

Experience:

- Must have experience in a similar position working across all social media platforms, social media analytics tools, Buffer, Mailchimp etc (or equivalent)
- Must have previously defined content marketing strategies
- Relevant experience in email campaigns, CRM, blogging, SEO, topic research
- Excellent writing skills - 1 to 3 years experience in content writing / journalism
- Autonomous, proactive, creative and well organised
- Committed to the long-term success of a start-up
- Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
