Dear Hiring Manager,
After completing high school in Taiwan in the summer of 2013, I started my university life at the University of Technology Sydney. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to fly back to Taiwan and was 3 months short of graduating.
I quickly began a career in cryptocurrency starting as a customer support staff for Bitfinex. Having no experience or knowledge of this industry, I pushed myself day and night by reading articles and piling up more of my workload to understand how the system works by trying my hands on different tasks.
This process has made me realise how dedicated I can be on a professional level, and how much time I am also willing to put in to make our team, and the company a better space for everyone, within two years I was appointed to the customer support team leader. Again this new role was quite different and refreshing as there were more aspects of the company I had the pleasure of learning, for instance; the management role, more higher-level consensus role with our clients thus also gaining experience as a project manager.
I believe whichever role I may be pulled into or step into, I will definitely surprise my team members and myself with just how quickly I can absorb how the environment and product work best.
