My name is Nikos Papadakis and I am writing to express my interest in the Blockchain field. My resume is attached for your review and there you can see my related experience in the industry as software developer and my very good capabilities.

The last couple of years I have developed a big interest in Blockchain/Web3 area and I have attended many video tutorials (e.g. Patrick Collins, Dapp University). I have built some personal project following bootcamps and getting knowledge with the Blockchain stack.

I have used skills like Solidity, Ethereum EVM, Hardhat, Foundry, Mocha, Chai, Ethers.js, React.js, OpenZeppelin, Chainlink. I upload my portfolio on my personal website where you can see my CV as well, https://npa528.github.io/cv/

Throughout my career so far, I developed applications using different tools and programming languages. I have previous experience in Web Development at Netmechanics LLC, an e-commerce company where I worked as Software Developer and have been involved in developing a Booking System for Car Rental business using Java EE 8.

Aside from this, I was asked to develop a mechanism to help the Digital Marketing department to fetch their monthly reports from platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Pixel. I developed a connector (software in power query m language) that connects Power BI software with the aforementioned platforms through their APIs. Data is fetched and is displayed in visualizations of Power BI ready to be used by the Digital Marketing department.

In other projects in Netmechanics, I designed a Web Crawler, using Apache NiFi, so that we can collect data from a web portal and store them in a database for further processing. In Netmechanics we use Microsoft Azure cloud computing and I had the chance to work with some of its subsystems, like Blob storage, Event Hub and some minor use of Azure Databricks.

Previously, I worked for Empelor GmbH, an IT security start up based in Zug, Switzerland, in their office in Crete (Heraklion). There, I was assigned with the development of an iOS software (static library) for online banking and payment applications using smart cards using Public Key Infrastructure environment (PKI) for security methods for generating cryptographic keys (RSA cryptosystem) and for encrypting / decrypting data on the Smart Card.

I believe I can succeed on every programming task that would be assigned to me and I am willing to learn new things and improve myself. Given my experience, I believe I fall in the Mid-level developer’s category for Software Development and Entry-level for Blockchain Developer, but I am confident that within the developer's team and the right working environment I will be soon in position to improve myself quickly.
I would really love to have an opportunity in this field.

At the moment, I live in Heraklion Crete and I can work remotely, but I can relocate if I secure a job. I am available immediately.
