About this Event
The 2024 European Curling Championships, sponsored by Le Gruyère AOP, are currently taking place with intense competition in the A and B Divisions for both men and women. The event is being hosted across Finland and Sweden from November 16 to 25, featuring 23 member associations competing for glory and qualification to upcoming world championships.

Competition Highlights:
Men's A-Division: Teams like defending champions Scotland, led by Bruce Mouat, and Olympic champions Sweden, skipped by Niklas Edin, are dominating. Switzerland and Italy are also strong contenders.
Women's A-Division: Switzerland, with Silvana Tirinzoni's world-class team, remains a favorite, while teams like Italy, led by Olympic champion Stefania Constantini, and Sweden, with Anna Hasselborg's squad, provide stiff competition.
Tournament Structure:
Round Robin: Teams play through initial matches until November 21, vying for spots in the semifinals.
Finals: The top four from each division advance, culminating in medal matches on November 23. The championships also serve as qualifiers for the 2025 World Championships in Korea (women) and Canada (men)
