Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Ramp’s international expansion and the transformation of the international marketing function, reporting to the Head of Marketing and Head of Partnerships. This senior and global marketing ops position is a highly visible role with influence in decision making and direction of travel of the business. The Marketing Operations Manager position is closely aligned with marketing, demand gen and sales.

You will make strategic decisions on marketing activities and develop an optimized strategy that dictates beginning to end systems that will contribute to success. You will monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, programs, and processes as well as lead flow and workflow to guarantee the achievement of the marketing department’s goals. You’ll have a direct responsibility to streamline data reporting and metrics tracking to understand ROI across B2B and B2B2C areas of the business. You will manage external freelancers and agencies.

Core Responsibilities:

- defining the Marketing Operations vision and strategy that enables intelligent decisions through precise analysis,
- owning the marketing operations roadmap, ensuring marketing technology is evaluated, selected, implemented and customized to meet the needs of the marketing department,
- partnering with Ramp’s Data Analytics team to ensure the marketing department can correctly report on the ratio between customer lifetime value and customer acquisition cost, through marketing acquisition tactics,
- regularly informing stakeholders across marketing, sales, customer success and finance of insights on marketing performance to ensure cross-functional alignment on the best possible data-driven marketing strategy,
- leading lifecycle, attribution, scoring, utm parameters, data enrichment, routing, lead nurture, customer engagement and sales hand-off,
- tracking and report on the entire marketing funnel including volume, velocity, conversion stage-to-stage, and average value,
- ensuring funnel measures can be analyzed by key dimensions such as industry, interests, geography, and persona,
- being responsible for marketing quarterly budget planning and ad hoc executive reporting,
- building and leading a strong team and closing talent gaps where needed through acquiring new team members,
- administrating the marketing budget and ensuring marketing costs are tracked correctly.

Candidate requirements:

- more than 7 years working experience in marketing with previous experience in marketing operations essential,
- minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL/Python essential,
- experience with Hubspot, data management, marketing automation, and extended experience working in digital marketing,
- demonstrable knowledge of marketing best practices and multi marketing channel execution,
- experience of managing teams and agencies,
- experience in budget management/financial analysis,
- results-driven with exceptional analytical skills in quantitative data analysis of program effectiveness, forecasting, and ROI excellent communication skills,
- proficiency in Google AdWords, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, etc,
- must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines,
- self-motivated and inspires team members to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to stay calm under pressure,
- is a plus: 3+ years’ relevant experience in a fintech or technology business,
- is a plus: an understanding of the regulatory, security and technical landscapes influencing the state of cryptocurrency today (and tomorrow).
