About the Job

We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer to build up a recently launched cryptocurrency exchange in Berlin.

A successful candidate will be expected to shape the company and the product, and, as a result, build a successful profitable business. He/She will optimize the organization in terms of regulatory, security and compliance aspects and potentially lead the Series A fundraising round in late 2019. The position holder will be the public face of the company representing it in the industry events and meetings.

Requirements:

● 4+ years of experience in leadership positions
● Background in PE, Trading or Fintech Startups
● Profound understanding of Exchanges, Derivatives, Financial Markets & instruments
● Extensive understanding & ideally experience within the Blockchain and Crypto industry
● Motivational team leader with the ability to set clear priorities, guide people and extensive hiring experience
● Proven ability to deal with regulation and compliance topics
● Outstanding presentation and excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to be an outgoing spokesperson and partnership builder
● Proficiency in long-term planning and budgeting
● Comfortable with an extremely dynamic, fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment
● Willingness to relocate to Berlin mid-term
● Beneficial: Product Management Experience
● MA Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Computer Sciences
