About the Job

A large Swiss telecommunication company is building an in-house startup with the focus on Blockchain and FinTech. This startup will be independent from the corporate, but has the advantage of drawing on its resources for the starting period. Your role as CEO of this newly founded startup is to turn the current proof-of-concept in a sustainable business and scale up the company afterwards. The initial team will consist of a CTO, CMO and yourself. All business decisions can be made independently from the large corporate during the business development process.

Your tasks:
• Business development: Turning the existing proof-of-concept into a sustainable business
• Identification of business strategy, through conducting an ongoing market analysis
• Responsibility over the entire budget with the goal to increase profitability and growth
• Developing industry partnerships & relationships
• Managing initial customer acquisition and leading the customer relations thereafter
• Building internal processes and staffing strategies
• Preparation of quarterly reports for the telecommunication corporate

Requirements:
• Master, MBA or PhD in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• At least 5 years of work experience in the financial service industry
• Good understanding of the crypto currency / digital asset space (incl. legal implications)
• Business Development and entrepreneurship background
• Well established networked in the Swiss finance and crypto environment
• Valid track record with the sale of tech solutions
• Sound negotiation skills on a senior management level with banks, regulators, and partners
• Excellent German and English language skills
• High leadership and motivating skills
• Entrepreneurial mind-set and ability to think out of the box
