About the Job

Eco is designing a digital currency for everyone, everywhere: a currency that will provide individuals across the globe with greater financial control and independence. Eco aims to create the most usable digital currency platform to date, building a protocol that will enable a distributed payment platform that is transparent, usable, and efficient.

Responsibilities:
-Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
-Identify and execute against content marketing campaigns, press and communications opportunities
-Craft compelling positioning and messaging narratives across different channels (Twitter, Facebook, Medium.com, Reddit, Discord, Telegram, etc.) and matching the message to the mediums
-Draft community moderation policy and moderate all user-generated content accordingly for each community
-Plan and manage events, meetups, conferences, and hackathons

Required Qualifications:
-2-5 years of experience in a community management, marketing, or strategy/business development role
-Must have excellent listening, verbal and written skills and be able to communicate effectively to audiences with varying levels of understanding of finance, cryptocurrencies, and distributed ledger technologies
-Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships with individuals at all levels in an organization
-Excellent social and networking skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
-Experience creating content that drives engagement and lead generation
-Experience planning and hosting in-person events and meetups to hit strategic goals
-Exceptional analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
-Curiosity, open-mindedness, and an unfailingly positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience working with Blockchain technology, decentralized systems
-Skilled at Google Analytics, Social Media tools, Google docs and drives, Slack, Discord, and Telegram
-Record of participation in different bitcoin or cryptocurrency social outlets such as bitcointalk, reddit, bitsharestalk, or Discord groups
