As part of our growing team, we’re looking for a smart, confident Digital Currency Content Manager who lives and breathes all things cryptocurrency to help us prioritise and produce quality content all things crypto.


About the Role

The Digital Currency Content Manager will be responsible for delivering monthly content on a daily schedule, similar to a typical news cycle. The pieces must be well-researched, current, engaging and (most importantly) delivered on-time.

The primary responsibility of the Digital Currency Content Manager, is to manage all digital currency content, including topic ideation, briefing additional writers, proofreading, plagiarism checking, editing and uploading content to the site. They may also be required to write content on occasion including articles and eDMs.

The Digital Currency Content Manager will work closely with one of our agile performance teams and work together to build strong readerships and deliver impressive results. This role requires the applicant to lead weekly client meetings as well as manage client communication and reporting.

This role would suit someone who has worked in journalism before, or as an in-house Content Manager where large volumes of content needed to be produced on a regular basis. Up to date knowledge of the latest news in the digital currency industry
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
1-2 years Wordpress experience
1-2 years on-page SEO experience
1-2 years copywriting experience

Responsibilities and duties:

Develop an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the team to ensure timely delivery of materials
Topic ideation for monthly thought leadership pieces, trending news stories and evergreen content through keyword research, Google Trends, and other news sources
Manage and brief a team of freelance writers, ensuring content is delivered on time
Proofreading, editing and plagiarism checking articles written by freelancers, ensuring that they are well researched, relevant, unique and engaging
Produce SEO-optimised evergreen content that’s in-depth and well-researched
Use SEO strategies to maximise search visibility
Upload content to Wordpress website on a regular, daily schedule
Monitor and analyse the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and offer suggestions for improvement
