About the Job

CTO – FinTech – Manchester – Permanent - £100k - 150k + equity

Plexus are currently partnered with a rapidly emerging FinTech who are in search of a CTO. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a small (at the moment!) fast-paced team as they embark on becoming the next big player in crypto.

For this role, the ideal individual will be both hands on and able to lead the team from the front. Your responsibilities will range from managing and expanding the development team to having free-reign on the tech. The key focus over the next year is building the back end, so strong experience here is crucial – tech stack is yet to be decided, but you should be comfortable with Java, C++ etc.

Experience:
• Proven CTO experience
• Previous experience in a tech startup, ideally FinTech
• Relevant experience in leading teams of Developers, DevOps, Product, etc
• Experience in a hands-on role, i.e. Backend Developer.
Location: Onsite in Manchester, with some flexibility around remote working (max 25% remote with regular travel to Manchester)

Salary: £100k - 150k + equity
Start: ASAP
