We are looking for a remarkable Data Analyst to support our product, sales, leadership and marketing teams with insights gained from our internal data. Our ideal candidate is smart, driven, a good communicator, great with people and able to use their deep understanding of data to help drive business results and accelerate our expansion in 2020. You must also be a self-starter who wants to work in an early stage business, start-up environment.

Our mission is to make digital currency investments simple, safe and secure for everyone and we are building the next generation of cryptocurrency services for the fast-growing community of digital currency investors - many of whom are new to crypto. We aspire to be more than a typical cryptocurrency wallet: we’re setting out to solve all the problems that exist around owning cryptocurrency with a product that’s fair, transparent and easy to use.

We are a Cardiff-based fintech / insurtech start up so you will be in at the beginning working with us to change the way people accumulate, hold and manage their cryptocurrency. This will be a fun and dynamic, yet challenging role which will suit someone who is focused, embraces change and wants to create something completely new.
Responsibilities
Understand and build on our existing business processes and data models.
Analyse existing data sources to understand the information to ensure data quality.
Maintain, review and improve existing processes, data organisation and reporting.
Design, develop and automated reporting solutions.
Work with internal teams to understand, document and deliver on business reporting requirements.
Present and report on business performance and trends to the team.
Use data to make recommendations to marketing and product teams on performance and priorities.
Requirements
A minimum 2 years of working full time in a BI team or role.
A problem solver and the ability to switch from technical to non-technical audiences.
SQL.
Power BI.
Strong Excel, Pivot Tables.
Data Modelling experience and familiarity with tools such as Tableau preferred.
Prepared to learn new technologies, face and resolve challenges and consistently deliver to high standards.
Knowledge of SaaS, cryptocurrency and or financial services desired but not essential.
