About EOS.IO Developer Relations Team

Our EOS.IO Developer Relations team has a global reach and supports developers all around the world who are in love with the latest trends in distributed technologies and with EOS.IO software. We are advocates of our technology and strive to make it better through communication to our core users – developers.
As a EOS.IO Developer Portal Contributor you will be working in the Developer Relations team and reporting to the Head of Developer Relations. Your primary responsibility will be contribution and management of the content (such as tutorials, guides, forum moderation) for the Developers Portal, our hub for developers working with EOS.IO blockchain. You will work closely with our EOS.IO core development team and create educational materials to help a new generation of developers start building on EOS.IO. You will also work with a wider Developer Relations team, helping them to strategize informational architecture of the Developers Portal, increasing the effectiveness of content through analytics and feedback. You will engage with the thriving EOS.IO community through Developer Portal forums and shape the future of distributed applications built on top of EOS.IO.
As an early member of a wider Developer Relations team you will be presented with many opportunities to participate in exciting Developer Relations activities - speaking at online and real life events and be a thought leader in the industry, writing blog posts, helping to facilitate hackathons and developers meetups, engage with ground-breaking startups in blockchain industry and other activities.

Job Responsibilities

Content creation – tutorials, developer guides, newsletters, API docs, sample apps, client libraries and blog posts.
Engagement with and provision of support to developers community on EOS.IO Developer Portal forums.
Identification of the content improvements through analytics and feedback loop.
If desired, support our developer products in person and online by presenting at conferences, blogging, videos and other similar activities.


Job Qualifications

MUST speak fluent and written English with good presentation, communication and computer skills.
Experience writing tutorials, guides, API docs, sample apps.
Experience writing code in C++/JavaScript.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Love working with people and enjoy being helpful.
