About the Job

Must have:5+ years of experience in general network administration
Must have: 3+ years of experience in managing a Linux infrastructure
Must have: 3+ years of experience in cloud computing and administration
Experience building Linux/Unix virtual machines/AMIs from scratch
Amazon Linux / RHEL or Ubuntu
Experience with build and deployment tools
CI/CD is a plus
Docker (Kubernetes or ECS a plus)
Ansible Chef is a plus
Terraform is a plus
Experience installing and monitoring an relational database
Experience installing and monitoring MongoDB is a plus
Ability to identify potential scaling issues and help define how to monitor and fix them
Management of development repositories, build automation and application deployment activities
Good understanding of fundamental internet protocols such as DNS, HTTP, and TCP
Experience supporting a 24x7 Internet-oriented production environment
Demonstrable expertise around specifying, designing, and/or implementing system health, performance monitoring tools, and software management tools for 24x7 environments
Familiar with the challenges surrounding efficient operations and failure mode analysis in large complex distributed systems.
