Job Description
Editor/Translator (Mandarin to English)
Job Responsibilities:
Translate Mandarin marketing collaterals to English text, content or artice etc
Translate Mandarin subtitles of video clips to English text or vice versa
Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
Retain the literature's essence in the translation process while maintaining the author's origin intention and message
Explores methods to increase the translation's productivity and quality.
Additional translation works support for business needs
Job Requirements:
Excellent in both English and Mandarin communication and writing (In order to liaise with the Mandarin speaking associates)
Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or equivalent
Time-management skills in order to meet the deadline
Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
Willing to commit overtime when needed
