About the Job

IOHK, a global leader in the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency ecosystem, is currently seeking a full-time Exchange Experience Engineer. We are looking for a someone with technical experience in the end user experience of integrators around a product and analyzing and understanding their needs and requirements.

We need someone who is used to managing deeply technical communities and functioning in a fast-paced development and partner growing environment. Ideal candidates will know how to build, manage and evolve Technical Partner Communities and understand the products, tools, features, comms and education artifacts required to grow, develop and support the Exchange Partnership

Key Responsibilities
 Work with the business to on board new exchanges, facilitating and coordinating their on-boarding
 Identify and work with teams to produce documents and training for the on-boarding process
 Design and develop User Experience journeys across our Exchange Partners
 Facilitate and lead workshops both external and internal to capture the user personas and user journey maps to highlight pain points and areas of opportunity to improve the process
 Advise Product Management on feature requests from Exchange community
 Collate feedback from the Exchange community
 Responsible and accountable for identifying friction points and issues of our exchange customers across blockchain and working with technical support and product management to resolve
 Function as the voice of the customer on their journey across our platforms and provide internal feedback on how we can better serve our exchange partners
 Work with the UI/UX team and product management to create service design guidelines, guide focus groups and usability testing, and identify and eliminate pain points.
 Produce and work with various departments to produce content and tools to facilitate and enable the ease of on boarding exchanges
 Liaise with Exchange partners via Slack (or other communication Channels)

Requirements
 Excellent communication skills
 Understanding accessibility and security compliance
 User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
 Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
 Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
 Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
 Desire to make the best trading platform out there
 Excellent HTTP API understanding
 Ability to gather Exchange Business and Technical requirements and work with PS’s and PM’s to translate to technical teams
 Strong passion for cryptocurrencies
