Decentral is part of the blockchain movement disrupting the financial services industry across Canada and the rest of the world. We create the Jaxx Blockchain Interface - a cryptocurrency wallet used today by more than 450,000 users. Tomorrow the sky’s the limit!

We are a team who take big risks, who celebrate our journey, and who are part of a movement that is changing the way the world thinks and acts about the exchange of value. We seek a Front End Developer to take us through the second phase of our journey. You will be pivotal in developing, implementing, and optimizing a new product Decentral is bringing to market. This product will be used by millions around the globe and we will be counting on you to launch brand new features, create really cool visual elements, work with backend APIs, all while keeping customer security top of mind.

To be successful, you will write great code and develop innovative solutions. You will work alongside our UX designers to turn vision into code. You will take pride in writing beautiful, commented TypeScript. You know how to write tests and debug Javascript. As well, you will work with RESTful APIs and provide input to backend programmers about requirements for new APIs.

As part of the interview process, we will ask you to provide a portfolio to showcase your past work.. We are excited for you to show your accomplishments and will use this to facilitate the communication during the interview. What was your role in each of the items in your portfolio? What are you most proud of about each project in hindsight? What might you have done differently or, if you had opportunity, what might you add to each of these projects to improve them in the future?
