# Your role:

We are seeking a highly motivated React Front-End Developer to join our development team and enhance the LocalCryptos platform. As a front-end developer, you will work closely with our small team to develop and array of new and existing projects, complete upgrades and bug fixes, and perform maintenance tasks.

This offer is for a full-time position in Melbourne, Australia with flexible working conditions.

# Tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Participating in the development of modern, secure and efficient front-end software with React
- Translating designs and wire-frames from our design team into high-quality code
- Learning and understanding user interactions to inform development decisions
- Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of operating systems, devices, and browsers

# Requirements:

- Proficiency with both server-side and front-facing JavaScript technologies, including NodeJS, the DOM, and ReactJS (ES2017)
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Experience in a broad range of security principals and secure software development practices
- Good understanding of web security fundamentals
- Familiarity with applied cryptography concepts (private keys, public keys, hashes, encryption)

# Bonus skills:

- Experience with React Native or NodeJS
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- UX/UI design skills
- Protocol-level familiarity with Ethereum or Bitcoin
- Ability to learn new technologies and languages quickly
