SCOPE
We are seeking an experienced back-end web developer to build and deploy new back-end features to improve our web app, for a minimum of 3 months.
- Develop, record, and maintain web-based backend applications in the cloud.
- Build core website functionalities and new features
- Write scalable & solid well-documented code with tests.
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Keep project managers well informed of the status of development effort by conveying effectively all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility of new features.
- Handle website maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with web designers to realise visual design intent & display web content effectively.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in PHP (Laravel framework), MySQL, and Javascript (best if React.js or Vue.js).
- Working knowledge of graphic design & UI/UX design.
- Experience in agile and test-driven development workflows & processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, software development, or related field is a plus.
