About the Job
● Develop a hiring strategy, job profiles, career paths, and performance reviews processes in accordance with the global talent strategy and adapted to the HK market and labour laws.
● Increase the brand awareness of Paxful and create an irresistible employer brand targeted to the HK talent pool.
● Own the learning and development process of our employees; identify training needs for our different departments and organize suitable training programs.
● Create professional training and onboarding materials including detailed screenshot tutorials.
● Own the talent pipeline, by corresponding with candidates throughout the interview process, including scheduling interviews, conducting assessments, and developing the hiring and onboarding procedures.
● Perform deep dive assessment interviews for candidates. Perform reference checks with candidates’ prior employers.
● In conjunction with the department head, develop talent strategies to match department goals, objectives, and systems.
● Attend meetups and conferences to interact with the HK talent pool and to grow employer brand awareness.
● Develop and spearhead company culture initiatives.
● Administrative and executive support-related tasks involving the clerical, administrative function, research, and management roles.
Required Skills and Experience
● A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or related field.
● Minimum of three years of experience in a human resources role at a technology, software, or financial services company.
● Proficiency with applicant tracking software (SAS, PeopleSoft, Workable, Greenhouse or other), Microsoft Office tools, Google tools and recruiting platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter access.
● Demonstrable experience with the job responsibilities.
● Handles confidential information and communications tactfully, attentive to details, will ask clarifying questions if needed.
Preferred Skills and Experience
● Comfortable speaking about Bitcoin, and related technologies.
● Previous role at a bitcoin or related cryptocurrency company.
● Startup or entrepreneurship experience.
