Job Description for PR / Communications Officer

As a PR/ communications officer, you will be responsible for handling the entire communications aspect of our projects. Applicants should be excited about developing and implementing plans to engage target audiences and spread the message about our projects and clients. The ideal candidate should have some experience in the communications sector or related fields, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

1. Strong communicator - You will be responsible for crafting all content our clients will use for PR efforts. As such, you are expected to be able to clearly articulate your point of view, both written and verbally. You will also work alongside the client’s in-house PR team, and will need to communicate with them effectively and create a smooth working relationship

2. Ability to multi-task and prioritize - You will service more than one client at a time - you are expected to be able to multi-task as well as prioritize according to milestones, client needs and urgency of task at hand

3. Able to handle stress - You will need to manage short deadlines and also put your crisis management skills to work as a part of this role. You are expected to be able to think quickly and calmly, and execute on solutions quickly.

4. Independent worker - We are looking for individuals who are able to work independently on their own and effectively in a team

5. Content creation and writing skills - You will be expected to develop, support and promote project goals, including message development, social media content creation and media outreach.

6. Presentation skills - You need to be able to craft presentations on the go, as well as be able to present them both internally and to external parties.

7. Interest or knowledge in blockchain - We hope for you to have some interest or knowledge in blockchain and cryptocurrencies

8. Creative thinking - We are looking for individuals who are able to identify target audiences and create new and creative strategies to effectively engage them
