The Web3 Foundation nurtures and stewards technologies and applications for the decentralized web. We collaborate with cutting-edge developer teams, researchers and community leaders to strengthen and extend the uses of decentralized technologies; building the future of identity, privacy, financial markets, commerce and more.

Our core project at the moment is Polkadot, a protocol designed to connect blockchains and allow them to interoperate, share security and more. In addition, we are supporting the development of a number of technologies that form the Web 3.0 tech stack - such as decentralized messaging, distributed storage and secret management.

Then come join the Web3 Foundation team in Zug as a Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Web3 Foundation, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of internal digital projects.

You will work with almost every team in the company to flawlessly organise, optimise and execute on a diverse range of projects. This role is varied and diverse, from coordinating the introduction of a new CRM tool to launching a site for Web3 Summit 2020.

We are a lean team with a flat organisation. You will be working closely together with team members in Zug, Berlin and in remote locations, as well as with diverse vendors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
- Manage and align work streams across the security, marketing, comms and tech teams
- Report and escalate any critical issues and incidents to management
- Develop a project roadmap and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Identify project’s most important problems, structure them, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to come to a solution.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in project management and/or coordinating digital projects
- Fantastic communication skills with the ability to engage and influence team members to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive, solutions-oriented perspective
- Strong tech affinity and interest in crypto and blockchain
- Experience with emerging technologies.

A plus

- Experience working with blockchain and decentralized technology projects
- Experience working in a tech startup
