About the Job

PayBear is a cutting-edge cryptocurrency platform working towards the creation of a global toolkit for crypto-based financial products.

With the initial version of our payment gateway already up and running, we’re now focused on incorporating new products into our growing ecosystem.

However, our work is not yet complete! We’re in need of a Scrum Master to apply their impressive skills towards the creation of even more amazing products at PayBear.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated scrum master to join our growing team. In this role you would be responsible for overseeing our software development team. You will also be responsible for helping us transition to agile and ensuring the team works under the agile methodology. We are seeking a candidate who have proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.


REQUIREMENTS
What you will do

Work closely with Product Managers to ensure the projects are worked on efficiently to ship products
Help the team transition from waterfall to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Assess, take charge of, and tune our Agile Scrum process until it sings
Oversee the process throughout design, implementation, QA, and validation of programming code and products
Manage Sprint boards/ Projects
Create project outlines and timelines and distribute responsibilities to team members
Facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing
Shape team behavior through excellent management via the agile method
Perform reviews on software development team members
Remove project obstacles, develop solutions with the team
Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout the project lifecycle
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, product managers/owners, and product users
Document progress and communicate to upper management and stakeholders
Take responsibility for successful product delivery
What we need from you

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
4+ years of software Project Management experience
Scrum Master certification required
5-7 years of experience in information technology (IT) project management required
Jira Expert
Strong technical knowledge of web and mobile technologies
Blockchain project experience is a bonus
Must possess leadership skills and experience
Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
Must possess the ability to explain intricate and complicated concepts and ideas
Must possess the ability to work well with many different kinds of people, departments, and divisions
