About the Job

We are growing our development team and looking for:

(1) Senior Architect

We are looking for leaders and innovators to work with both front end and back end technologies in order to create, architect and maintain current Decentral applications and future products. This will be accomplished by writing unit code to maintain code quality, maintain code standards and server status.

Responsibilities

Front and/or back-end web development

Contribute to the design and architecture of Jaxx and future products

Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications

Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features

Maintain code integrity and organization

Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements

Understanding and implementation of security and data protection

Liaise with development team

Other tasks/projects as assigned/required



Education, Skills & Knowledge Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field

Front End development experience in Angularjs

Back End development experience in Nodejs

Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery

Proficiency with MySQL and MongoDB (Back End)

Experience working in AWS, REST API’s would be considered an asset

Experience in testing and validation to ensure the quality and functionality of apps

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience developing for Android and iOS mobile platforms would be considered an asset

Ability to write modularize code

Ability to run or perform code reviews

Experience working in a start-up would be considered an asset

A passion for clean and friendly UX

Knowledge of Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain Technology is an asset
