== Description of role ==
Are you a passionate frontend developer who enjoys creating seamless and smooth user experiences? At Dolomite, we’re changing the way crypto trading is done by making it easier, safer, and more accessible than ever. We’re seeking experienced developers to join our frontend team in pioneering new user experience and design standards in the blockchain space, in turn bringing this incredible new technology into the hands of as many people as possible.

As a member of Dolomite’s frontend team, you will work alongside a tight knit group of developers in designing and developing new applications as well as building upon our existing products. Our frontend team works on a range of applications from responsive web applications to mobile apps and browser extensions.

== Required ==
- Minimum 2 years of frontend development experience at startup / mid-sized companies
Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Professional experience with React, Javascript, HTML, and CSS
- Well-versed in responsive design and UI/UX best practices
- Experience keeping track of your work using project tracking tools like GitHub and other issue-tracking software, like CodeTree
- Expertise in building responsive user-interfaces
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and aesthetic sensibilities
- Expert knowledge of modern browser technologies, cross-browser compatibility issues, and client-side performance considerations

== Preferred ==
- Experience with cryptocurrency trading
- Knowledge of existing crypto trading platforms (Binance, Coinbase, Radar Relay)
- Experience developing with Web3 or other Ethereum Javascript libraries
- Familiarity with Ethereum blockchain and smart contracts
- Familiar with CSS preprocessors like Sass and LESS
- Professional experience with React Native (Not required as React knowledge translates well)

== Responsibilities ==
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build new products and improve on existing features and applications
- Regularly participate in code reviews and other team functions
- Provide technical leadership and assist guiding the team’s overall technical direction
- Be passionate about improving processes and developer productivity
- Occasionally refactor or optimize code and participate in codebase upgrades
- Continuously implement and upkeep automated tests as well as work with our QA team to ensure the stability and correctness of product features
