About the Job

Coinspace aims to become the homepage for cryptocurrencies by providing a platform to explore and navigate the ecosystem. Coinspace comprises a wide pallet of tools used by everyday cryptocurrency users into one place and provides a platform for deep and meaningful interactions between different parties of the ecosystem. We are looking for an all-star talent to join our team and support Coinspace in reaching its goals.

What you will do

- Develop custom solutions and provide technical consultation to our product development team.
- Backend development of new functionality and services.
- Debugging and bug fixes in existing and new code.
- Work with the Head of Product to test implemented features.
- Communicating with internal team members, clients and third parties at a technical level.
- Drive the product forward by leading the technology roadmap.

What you will need

- 5+ years experience developing web-based applications in PHP.
- Advanced experience building/using RESTful / Web API’s.
- Must be a strong team and individual motivator with a positive attitude who enjoys working with others.
- Ability to work independently in addition to collaborative work on large projects with team members, including stakeholders, product owners, designers, and other developers.
- Proven experience in web programming.
- Expert level knowledge of modern PHP and MySQL.
- Knowledge of PHP frameworks - Laravel, Symfony or similar.
- Experience in problem solving in data structures & algorithms.
- A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management and n-tier architecture.
- Experience architecting and implementing backend systems (from database on up).
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency space and platforms that crypto enthusiasts use would be an advantage.
