Are you looking for a role where your social media expertise can make an impact? We are seeking a full time Social Media & Community Manager to join our marketing team to lead and execute our content strategy and become the voice of IOEN.

What is IOEN?

The Internet of Energy Network (IOEN) is a community-driven network that enables connection and value exchange between any energy device, user, or market.

IOEN is composed of two currency layers. The first is IOEN itself (pronounced “ion”), which is used as a staking asset to unlock new microgrid economies. The second layer is a series of Internet of Energy Currency (IOEC) credit systems unique to each community exchanging energy value within a minigrid.

Having completed a recent IDO on the 14th of October, IOEN is in phase one of its roadmap; Establishment, focusing on listing on exchanges and growing our community.


Job Overview:

The purpose of the Social Media & Community Manager will be to build brand awareness, drive growth in our community and increase users through the use of social media outlets. This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring social media strategy across multiple channels and profiles. Social Media & Community Manager will develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate a social media calendar and plan for each profile and channel being used in social media. You will be responsible for IOEN’s brand and work with the marketing team in the creation and publication of relevant, original, high quality content. Create and publish content to maximise audience reach and community engagement.

The overall objective is to grow an active and engaged community that is deeply passionate about IOEN's mission.

Responsibilities:

- Be the voice of IOEN to the community.
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily.
- Ensure community management and growth agencies hit their KPIs.
- Manage our team of moderators and ambassadors on Telegram & Discord.
- Including recruiting and training them on upcoming developments and marketing campaigns.
- Define the most important KPIs for tracking social media performance and provide monthly reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Operations.
- Create and implement social media campaigns such as contests, AMA’s and new offers and measure their success.
- Assist in the creation and editing of video and photo content for social media platforms.
- Develop social media content strategies to grow our communities' engagement.
- Monitor the social media profiles and action ideas for improvement.
- Utilize social media tools to be efficient in posting, monitoring and evaluating performance.
- Research and identify relevant social trends to join in and rapidly develop content surrounding these trends.
- Monitor community responses and engagement on social media channels as well as respond and react in a timely and appropriate manner that represents the business.
- Deliver on-brand voice and messaging across all social platforms, and collaborate with the Marketing, Branding, and Operations staff to ensure consistency cross-platform.

What you bring:

- Experience in social media management
- Previous experience managing and growing communities is highly regarded
- Have an understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, DeFi, trading culture and social trends across international markets is highly regarded
- Comprehensive understanding of Telegram, Twitter, Discord or a willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing strategy that has driven community growth.
- Experience with analyzing and collating reports to deliver to department heads.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Some graphic design and video editing skills are highly regarded.
- Be online to work AEDT business hours.
