About the Job
Libertas, based in the UK, is a young, hybrid, decentralised podcast infrastructure and streaming platform, born to promote unimpeded traffic between content creators and listeners and to empower everyone with the simplicity and freedom to distribute, monetise and stream original audio content.
We are looking for a talented Solidity developer with expertise across DeFi, NFT and token engineering or governance mechanisms to help us take Libertas to the next level.
The right candidate must have proven experience in the development of high-quality solidity code deployed on the Ethereum mainnet.
The right candidate must understand incentive mechanisms and structures and must be capable of providing well-tested code and understand the possible vectors of attack on smart contracts.
This job is fully remote and highly adaptable to your work schedule; however, we have a preference for developers that can work during normal UTC hours.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
A strong performance history
An active Github, focused on Solidity development
REQUIRED SKILLS
Programming languages: Solidity, JavaScript / TypeScript
Frameworks: Node.js
Protocols: REST API (Express)
Databases: SQL
Repository: Git(Hub)
Languages: excellent English communication skills (written as well as spoken)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work on existing smart contracts to specifications
Develop new smart contracts
Test new and existing smart contracts for unexpected behaviour, vulnerabilities and bugs
Review contracts for logic flaws or security issues
Design and drive software specifications to a successful conclusion
Develop high-quality software solutions based on validated specifications
Optimize decentralized finance and non-fungible token (NFT) implementations
Use of software best practices (unit test, modern software architecture, etc)
YOUR EXPERTISE
A strong performance history
Strong skills in developing smart contracts in Solidity
In-depth understanding of DeFi protocols, smart contracts vulnerabilities and Gas optimizations
In-depth knowledge of the Smart contracts space
Very well versed in crypto-economic protocol design, including incentive structures and governance
Demonstrable experience in interacting with the EVM and writing high-quality, well-tested Solidity code
In depth understanding and implementation of cryptographic primitives
Good understanding of business and functional requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Be able to collaborate effectively on a breadth of technical topics
Proven track record in designing software algorithms and data structures
DESIRABLE
Prior experience building systems for financial markets and general knowledge of economics
