I have had one web3 internship whhere I worked under the supervision of one of my professors and did a variety of jobs during the 8 month duration of the internship.
- Development of an NFT marketplace MVP (minimum viable product) for a e-commerce Spanish company (Scalefast). Worked within a small team of 2, myself and a classmate. We had to meet with the client, capture the requisites and create a prototype of the design they would want. After this, we developed an NFT marketplace using Moralis APIs and hardhat development environment for developing and testing. The marketplace was hosted using Alchemy nodes. This experience took a lot of self-teaching as this field is very new and neither the professor nor the client had any understanding of how to do it.
-During the development of this NFT marketplace, a new project was created, the client needed an NFT minter tool. I worked by myself on this task, using some of the previous technologies (moralis, hardhat, alchemy) and also using a plugin of Rarible and Nextjs to create a simple private website where the client could upload images with metadata an create an NFT registered on the blockchain without having to code. This allowed me to create the product, and put together the knowledge I had gained of how the backend worked with my passion for design.
-Create a DAO (autonomous decentralized organization) accessible with a Mobile App that allowed people from a neighborhood vote (using an ERC20 governance token) on future legislations that affected the community. This project was part of my final thesis for my computer science degree. Had to create an MVP of the idea. Designed an app using React Native, then created a DAO using hardhat development environment and an ERC20 token with brownie framework and OpenZeppelin Contracts. Implemented verification functions based on the users national identification card and street address.(for more detail check my gitHub)
