Got through a long and bumpy path from HTML layouts developer to a full-stack tech lead, I’ve gained an immense amount of soft and hard skills.
On the technical side:
- snappy, quick, responsive/adaptive UI
- compact and e client component and project structure
- REST and RESTful API design
- monolithic and serverless server patterns
- picky and consistent code style
- complex WebSocket services
- always simplifying and splitting any complex solutions
On the management side:
- self-organized
- quite close estimates (it’s impossible to be precise here)
- managing a team of front-end, back-end, mobile and full-stack developers
- mentoring and teaching the best practices and project requirements
- resolving any team conflicts, miscommunication, and misunderstandings
- getting team members excited about their tasks
