I am a software engineering professional, technology management specialist and product developer with a strong academic background and 12+ years of exp. in the tech space.
A brief background and story about me. In 2015 I joined two very enthusiastic guys in their vision to create products using state-of-the-art technology in KONA. After being granted as one of their partners, the startup shifted its focus to deliver FinTech products for banks and financial services in LATAM and NA. More than 6 years later, having scaled a business from a few-people startup to reaching 50+; successfully rolled out several one-of-a-kind projects and innovative machine learning products; saw our offices expanded to Toronto and Buenos Aires; our company was acquired by Technisys in 2021. Later on, in 2022, Technisys became a unicorn company when it was acquired by SoFi Technologies.
Throughout those challenging years I have:
-Developed and technically led several product and project teams in designing, building and rolling out web and mobile platforms since the beginning of KONA:
-> Developed the Backend APIs using Javascript + Node.js + MongoDB while helping other engineers with the ML components using Python and Frontend tasks using React
-> Deployed the solutions in the cloud using Docker/Kubernetes environments
-> Architected the solutions with the CTO and Sr Devs
-> Acted as the client's main focal point
-Worked in the entrepreneurship Linguoo as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. In it we were able to participate on-site in several accelerator programs in Mexico, Denmark and Poland.
-Performed as a Product Owner of one of the products of the SoFi/Technisys tech stack owning the end-to-end product lifecycle and defining the roadmap and market fit with key stakeholders.
-Acted as an Engineering Manager for the last 2 years in KONA with all the technical, managerial, mentorial and recruitment activities needed. In parallel I was also in charge of several technical presales and undertook key company-wide strategic activities.
Currently, I have been immersing myself in the Blockchain space by learning dApps dev using Solidity, Typescript, Hardhat and React. I also gathered knowledge about Cryptocurrencies, Trading, TA and FA.
