About Us
ICOB is a Singapore based fintech start-up looking to expand to the UK and applying for a banking licence with the New Bank Start-Up Unit at the Bank of England.
The Role
We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer to join us in our New Bank Application Process. The position is a permanent one based in the UK.
What you will be doing:
• Fine-tuning our business plan and business strategy
• Overseeing website and mobile app development
• Working with consultants to develop our proprietary crypto compliance system
• Meeting with the financial regulators (PRA/FCA) to communicate our business plan and to address their concerns
• Hire, train and lead the team
• Manage critical vendor relationships
• Set KPIs and lead team to achieve goals efficiently
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
We are looking for individuals who value entrepreneurship and innovation and are interested in making a significant impact in the banking and fintech industry. The candidate should be able to communicate effectively, have a proven track record of achievement and can work effectively as a team.
The successful candidate should have the following experience / skill set:
• At least 10 years of prior experience in Banking / Finance / Fintech
• Open minded and willing to challenge the status quo
• High level of written and oral communication in English
• Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain
Remuneration
Remuneration is commensurate with experience and is negotiable.
