About the Job

Bybit and vibrant global financial technology (fintech) investment firm headquartered in Singapore, and with offices around the world, including China, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, and North America.

You will work closely with key business partners to understand the business trend and solution needs, drive and gain business insight and decisions making through large-scale data.

You will drive your hands-on in technical solution and coding skillsets each day knowing that exciting times are ahead in the cryptocurrency/blockchain industry.

Data Engineer

Responsibilities:
Building ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) flows for streaming data transformations for data analysis purposes.
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that are relevant for building analytic systems as part of the company’s overall continuous work flow improvement processes.
Cleaning data in an automated fashion to guarantee both quality and efficiency for ETL flows.
Providing data support for market campaigns through data analysis.
Mining daily business data and identifying business risks and opportunities from the data outputs.
Working with the product data manager to build a comprehensive reporting system for product operations.
Monitoring the daily operations and business indicators of each project, and reporting abnormal indicators to stakeholders.
Scaling up the data pipeline architecture for big data initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above
More than 3 years of working experience in BI (Business Intelligence) / data mining, with clear evidence of analytical thinking, conscientious, meticulous and active work experiences in related fields.
Strong hands-on ability in data analysis and mining, with proficiencies in the programming languages like R/shell/c(c++)/java/python, etc.
Skilled in using SQL (Sequential Query Language) and performance tuning for at least one database (Proficiency in MySQL is preferred)
Candidate with following experience will be a bonus point:

* Proficiency in Tableau and Google Analytics platforms.
* Knowledgeable in Big Data framework systems. (Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Canal, Hive, Kafka, Elasticsearch)
* Experience of running ML algorithms.
* Previous role as QA engineer in Big Data related projects will be a bonus.
