We’re assembling a team of seasoned crypto investors, entrepreneurs, engineers and technologists.

About the role:

This person will play a critical role in refining our technical documentation to ensure that our developer community is engaged and informed. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and deliver while helping to grow a global team. You will be the technical reference for developers building with Totle’s API. You’ll talk to respected engineers, engage the community and build relationships. You’ll work with an amazing product, marketing and engineering team creating a world class decentralized product.

You will be helping to continue documentation of our framework, write implementation specifications and adapt them to a wider audience of readers. You’ll work with our engineering staff, product team and executives to ensure the texts to be accurate and user-friendly.


The role of the encompasses many activities including:


Updating technical texts, explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner
Write, edit and publish online articles and other written and visual content for internal and external developers.
Take part in preparing the materials of our educational programs and attending and presenting at conferences, hackathons, meetups and other events
Gain a deep understanding of the developer and partner community, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
Answering specific tech questions on the API in our community forums, at events and via email.



This position is completely remote and does not require presence in the office. However, if you are in the Detroit area, and you'd like some company, you are welcome to work from our offices located in Birmingham, MI.

Experience as a developer is a must

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in writing technical documentation describing the API systems and their architecture
Strong technical background, especially in APIs with multiple endpoints
Analysis and structuring of the existing documentation.
Writing documentation style guide and documentation templates.
Writing technical documentation for existing functionality.
Harmonization of the documentation package with the team.
Interaction with product developers, and product teams
Knowledge of approaches to documentation (technical writing fundamentals - the target audience, the document structure, document formats, etc.).
Thrives in a fast-paced environment where being self-directed, determined, and resilient are a requirement
Passion for decentralized and open-source technologies and advocating them to others
