About the Job

Savvy is a cutting-edge cryptocurrency platform working towards the creation of a global toolkit for crypto-based financial products.

With the initial version of our payment gateway already up and running, we’re now focused on incorporating new products into our growing ecosystem.

However, our work is not yet complete! We’re in need of an DevOps Engineer to apply their impressive skills towards the creation of even more amazing products at Savvy. An enthusiastic individual willing to join our fast growing start-up in the crypto-market.

What do we expect from you:
- Maintain the existing infrastructure
- Work on architecture of our internal and external services
- Strong commitment to automate everything
- Have the desire and ability to solve open-ended problems in a highly-functional, elegant, and scalable manner, and to think strategically about how we evolve the Savvy products
- Collaborate with other team members to find ideal solutions
- Deliver scoped features on schedule

What we need from you:
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Expertise in configuration management systems (Ansible is preferred)
- Experience with Docker (writing Dockerfiles, managing private registries, managing and troubleshooting containers)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience maintaining web projects (e.g. nginx, node.js etc)
- Experience administering Gitlab, advanced Git skills
- Basic infosec skills
- Basic performance engineering skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in best practices for the whole software development cycle (TDD/CI/CD) andagile methodologies.
- Experience working as part of a remote team

Extras:
- Understanding of blockchain, Ethereum and dapps (big plus)
- Experience maintaining task tracking software like Jira
