The Director of Marketing will be charged with reaching the next level of marketing maturity for our destination. A strong understanding of our customer's journey and methods for reaching the customer is required as is an exceptionally strong background in the integration of digital and traditional campaigns across multiple platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:
• Increase brand awareness across multiple platforms
• Oversee digital and multichannel campaigns (in conjunctions with marketing managers and agencies) to include:
• Digital marketing
• Email
• Traditional advertising
• Content
• Social media
• Owned channels (website, blog, landing pages, etc)
• Lead, supervise, motivate, mentor and grow a team including marketing manager(s), content manager and graphic designer
• Oversee marketing campaigns for events
• Ensure workflows and processes are effective and adhered to
• Manage agency relationships
• Effectively work within established budget and participate in budgeting for future years
• Track promotional programs
• Negotiate media buys, both with and without agencies
• Prepare monthly departmental reports
• Stay up-to-date on current marketing, advertising and social media trends to ensure the marketing team is both inspired and current
• Research and stay current on the competitive landscape

Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in marketing, advertising and brand management
• Minimum 5+ years experience leading and supervising a team
• Proven organizational, time management and project management skills allowing for seamless juggling of multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong understanding of market data and basic analytic knowledge
• Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, diplomacy in a wide variety of internal and public situations
• Full proficiency in MS Office 365 suite
• Experience using a CMS and/or CRM
