Introduction

We believe in the decentralization of finance. At Secured Finance we building a decentralized P2P banking business as an evolution of middle and back-office banking operations on top of blockchain by leveraging Ethereum smart-contracts. Starting with lending capital markets with fixed terms, automatic margin-call system, and mark-to-market mechanisms our team is capable to provide a full range of services for interest rates business in DeFi.

Our mission is to bring the maturity and best practices of institutional finance into DeFi. We designed a protocol from the accumulated knowledge of 40-years of the financial industry that governs 600+ trillions of dollars and made the interbank market system open to the public.

Our financial markets are interoperable across multiple blockchain networks and native cross-chain settlement unlocks the limitations of digital assets like Bitcoin/Filecoin being used in DeFi.

About the position

We're looking for a passionate smart contracts engineer with a proven experience in the development of high-quality solidity code deployed on Ethereum mainnet. To force the development of Secured Finance Protocol an ideal candidate has to understand an order book trading systems, incentive mechanisms, capable to provide a well-tested code and understands the possible vectors of attacks on smart contracts.

Responsibilities

- Develop order-book trading systems for lending market and interest rate products (interest rate swaps, fx forward trading, etc.)
- Design Secured Finance protocol architecture and drive high-level decisions
- Test smart contracts against unexpected behavior, possible attacks, and bugs

Qualification

- Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, smart contracts vulnerabilities, and gas optimizations
- Demonstrable experience interacting with the EVM and writing high-quality, well-tested Solidity
- Works well with autonomy and can drive strong culture at early-stage startups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate effectively on a breadth of technical topics

Nice to have

- Have knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript paired with React/Redux
- Are familiar with crypto-economic protocol design including governance and incentive structures
- Existing contributions to open-source software products
- Good estimation skills
- Team player, good communication, shares knowledge
- Proactive and independent
- Prior experience building systems for financial markets and general knowledge in economics
