About the Job

Job responsibilities

-Design/Develop intuitive, high-performance enterprise web platform for external client-facing trading portal (both server-side and UI)
-Work with highly technical regional/global teams to develop globally aligned platform using best practices
-Work closely with front office users to deliver mission-critical systems
-Work directly with the traders to gather user requirements
-Design software solutions which will match those requirements, taking into account cost and delays constraints, agreed with both IT management and head of desk

Job requirements

-University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
-5+ years of experience as a front office developer, familiar with object oriented designs and common patterns
-Solid knowledge in C#, Java or C++
-Strong technical expertise in Javascript (exposure to industry frameworks such as angularJS, node.js, and/or Elixir), HTML5, etc.
-Proven OO development background and strong fundamental development knowledge
-Exposure to any Front office system OMS, EMS, DMA
-Creative & innovation, excellent adaptability, communication, initiative & autonomy capabilities are expected
-Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
