VP Marketing

Reports to the President and CEO

As the VP - Marketing at Tafi, you will lead the team defining, articulating, and amplifying Tafi’s voice in the world. This will include overseeing brand marketing, content marketing, growth marketing, PR/Communications, among other areas. You will also be instrumental in guiding our Product Marketing vision and working with key client partners to lead in groundbreaking NFT projects to success.

In this newly updated role, you will help develop the brand, build the team, and allocate resources in service of our short and long-term goals across a range of products and initiatives. The successful Marketing Leader will be strategic and creative in equal parts, with a strong understanding of both B2B and B2C user acquisition and marketing funnels across social, web3 and IRL channels. You must be a self-starter and a strong leader, capable of building a team to execute marketing strategies for all current and future products and services.

Your Impact as VP Marketing
- Defining, building, and scaling a full marketing team to deliver on all key company and product objectives
- Developing the Tafi NFT brand and presence, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to differentiate and establish a winning value proposition in the market
- Strategically allocating resources to maximize impact and return on your team’s marketing efforts across digital, social, field, and other channels, evaluating, selecting, onboarding, and managing external vendors and partners as required
- Partnering with Community and Creative Studio teams to building a robust social and marketing content calendar across all owned and third-party channels
- Designing and executing on full scope marketing plans to drive user engagement across all platforms
- Owning the successful execution of events / sponsorship budget and calendar that meets objectives for key brand and product objectives
- Analyzing consumer behavior and define target customer personas while finding new ways to connect with target audiences across each of our key product verticals
- Partnering with Production, Business Development and Sales to capture and qualify leads, enhancing the ability for downstream teams to engage and execute with prospects and opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with key collaborators work with them on promotional activities, content creation, and other opportunities
- Providing in-depth analysis measuring the success of campaigns/tools developing KPIs, communicating results to relevant stakeholders.
- Assisting in honing and developing brand identity, ensuring our brand platform and message is strong and consistent across all channels

You Bring to Tafi
- 5+ years experience in a marketing leadership role at a tech company
- NFT industry experience is a MUST!
- B2B marketing experience with one or more of the following product/service offerings: creative services (e.g. creative agencies); developer-focused enterprise; blockchain, crypto, and/or NFTs
- Prior experience building comprehensive marketing programs from the ground up
- An understanding and passion for the web3.0, blockchain, crypto, and NFT spaces
- Experience working in an agile environment on consumer-facing software products
- Strong knowledge of creative and content production workflows for cross-functional projects
- Strong creative instincts, previous experience working in a creative role
- A great collaborator, fantastic at simplifying/clarifying complex concepts, with great leadership abilities that motivate teams to deliver
- Experience growing product adoption and defining product differentiation in the marketplace
- Strong organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities, workflow, and people
- Strong business sense and a commitment to excellence/high standards
