**About the role**

Snowcrash is actively looking for a talented blockchain engineer who:
* wants to work at the frontier of blockchain technology and the NFT ecosystem,
* has in-depth knowledge in building and deploying complex on- and off-chain programs,
* can add creative ideas, vibrant energy, and technical wizardry to our team.


We are looking for an experienced blockchain engineer (3+ years of experience) who will be part of our autonomous, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team. The focal point of this position involves NFT and blockchain related challenges such as design, implementation, and production monitoring of bleeding-edge smart contracts for our NFT ecosystem. Part of the day-to-day work includes collaboration with other backend/frontend engineers across and outside the company to drive practices and architecture forward. Strong competence in the Rust programming language is an advantage. This will be a unique opportunity for a solid Rust (or Solidity) engineer to become a versatile blockchain engineer in the Solana ecosystem and help us launch cutting edge DeFi products.

**You bring**

* 3+ years of experience as backend/blockchain developer or similar role
* Good knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptoeconomic protocols
* You love exploring and being an early adopter of cutting edge technologies such as blockchain smart contracts, DeFi, and NFTs (Solana, Metaplex is a plus)
* Basic understanding of Ethereum and/or Solana smart contracts
* (Solana/Rust are a big plus)
* Experienced in at least one of the following: Rust, Solidity, C++, Nodejs, Web3, or similar (Rust is an advantage)
* You own your deliverables, end-to-end: design, develop, and operate technical architecture and systems
* Critical thinking, problem solving and good time-management skills
* Team player: You love working with people. You want to be a part of a team that enjoys sharing different technological approaches and have the opportunity to coach and share your learnings from past experience.
