The role

We are looking for an ambitious Head of Blockchain Engineering to lead the growth and development within the Kosen Labs Blockchain Engineering team. As a Head of Blockchain Engineering you will architect and build secure smart contract protocols and backend services to connect users with the Kosen ML ecosystem. The work will initially focus on the major DeFi protocols, primarily different AMMs and derivative protocols. You will also mentor and train junior team members on smart contract best practices, and your responsibilities might also involve hiring new team members and further building out the engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

Being the go-to person for all technical questions regarding blockchain in the company;
Architecting system designs and producing lower level specifications that more junior team members can work with;
Contributing to the design and implementation of critical parts of the system;
Performing security audits of the code written by others;
Mentoring junior team members in blockchain and engineering best practices;
Helping us build out a world class blockchain team.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

General knowledge of blockchain technology;
Proven 5+ years of experience in software or hardware engineering;
At least 2-3 years of Solidity development experience;
Good knowledge of Solidity development frameworks like Truffle, Ganache, Tenderly, Hardhat;
Understanding of server-side programming using Geth;
Experience with Open Zeppelin libraries;
Experience using TDD methodologies;
Basic financial knowledge;
Strong numerical skills and knowledge of safe math;
Strong sense of security;
Solid knowledge of blockchain exploits.

Nice to have

Knowledge of Solidity security testing tools like Slither, Mythril;
Experience with DeFi protocols;
Quant finance background;
Basic understanding of machine learning technology.
