We launched the Paysail platform in late 2021 and are growing rapidly every month. Our product surface area covers payment processing across multiple fiat and cryptocurrencies.

As a software engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining Paysail's core feature set, overseeing technical architecture, and building out new features and integrations. You'll launch features that will be immediately used by our users, and work day-to-day with a tight-knit team that prioritizes open communication and values creativity. We quickly and collaboratively solve a wide range of technical and product challenges. We value engineers who are excited to take initiative and propose solutions.

Your Work & Responsibilities
- Develop scalable products and features with an emphasis on a seamless user experience
- Not only maintain, but also improve our existing architecture and codebase
- Contribute to the design, planning, and execution of new features, and integrations. For example, tracking stablecoin payments through integrating popular and accounting and expense tracking tools
- Use APIs to retrieve, document, and sync blockchain payment records
- Help build a full-suite blockchain-based invoice payment and management platform

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack experience building interactive web applications
- You've worked with NoSQL databases like Google Firestore and/or MongoDB
- You have experience developing third party integrations using REST APIs
- You have understand security best practices such as public-key encryption and defense-in-depth
- You're excited about developing technical expertise in areas like blockchain technology and payment processing
- You care deeply about mentoring the next generation of Paysail engineers

Employment Type
- Role: Full-Time
- Salary: $150k - $250k
- Equity: 0.25% - 1.50%
- Location: Remote, preference for Americas timezones
