About the Job

BitPay is building blockchain payment technology that is transforming how businesses and people send, receive, and store money. We're growing fast and we are seeking a Senior Back End Developer with extensive experience developing production-ready JavaScript applications. As a member of our development team, you will collaborate with talented developers who have a passion for cryptocurrency and changing the way the world pays for things!

Deliver quality code that is tested, secure, and performant on a global scale
Value openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Extend and maintain our platform as we grow and add features

Requirements:
3+ years of server-side development experience with Node.js, MongoDB, and JavaScript
5+ years (total) of server-side development experience in any language/stack
An understanding of cryptographic security concepts
A strong desire to continuously learn
Open-source project contributions preferred
Cryptocurrency development experience a plus!
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
