About the Job
The team behind Undra (known as Studio Decent) are trying to massively improve Web3 gaming for mainstream gamers and we need people who are excited to build unconventional, story-driven games with blockchain tech.
Undra is the name of our game. It is also a fictional setting, a newly discovered island in the year 1898. Focussing on rich worldbuilding with roguelike elements, Undra is an MMO based on strategy and collaboration, where the actions and choices of the community shape the world in profound and permanent ways.

🎨 SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We need a UI designer to help create the next phase of Undra, where the world is brought to life with beautiful and highly engaging play.
You’ll have experience in designing rich game UIs, with an understanding of gaming hooks and what it takes to surprise and delight players. You will be comfortable with an iterative approach that focuses on shipping and learning. Whilst this isn’t a UX focused role you will have experience working with UX designers to ensure that your designs are intuitive, engaging and reflect player needs and passions.
You will work with our creative and product teams to conceptualise new ideas and experiences, delivering concepts, UI designs and prototypes. You’ll work with our Design Director to take your work from design to implementation and our engineering team to convert Figma mockups into buildable tasks.
This role is perfect for a designer with experience in UI design for web, casual or indie games looking to move into web3 & blockchain gaming. Experience as a player or designer of blockchain & web3 games is a bonus but we’re very happy to help you learn these skills.

Remote working, company leads are in the UK with team members in the EU, US & Singapore
